'Dancing On Ice' contestants have been told not to put on weight over Christmas.
Bosses of the ITV1 skating competition - which is due to start on
January 9 - are reportedly so terrified the show's hopefuls will pile
on the pounds over the festive season they sent out a warning email
last week, advising them to steer clear of mince pies and alcohol.
TV personality Chloe Madeley - the daughter of former 'This Morning'
hosts Richard and Judy - explained: "We all got an email last week
saying we need to keep an eye on our weight over the holidays and maybe
it would be best not to drink too much and lay off the mince pies.
"I think they are worried we are going to turn into porkers and not fit into our costumes."
Chloe also revealed her skating partner Michael Zenezine had begged her not to gorge on festive treats.
She added: " He said: 'Have a great Christmas, just don't get fat.' He does have to lift me, so it's only fair."
However, mum-of-four Kerry Katona - who has adhered to a tough training
schedule in order to lose weight for the show - is confident she can
follow 'Dancing On Ice' bosses' advice and maintain her newly-svelte
shape.
She said: "I had lost a lot before I started the training so I think during the show I will tone up quite a lot."
