Tamara Mellon enjoys Christmas in a Lanvin cocktail dress.
The Jimmy Choo co-founder will be spending her festive season on the Caribbean island of St. Barts with her daughter Minty and will not be paring-down her attire because of the demands of the day.
She said: "Every year, my daughter Minty and I spend Christmas unwinding on the beach in St. Barts.
"But before we go, we decorate our Christmas tree at home in New York. On Christmas morning, we have a big breakfast and open the presents. My favourite Christmas outfit is a Lanvin cocktail dress."
However when heading down to the beach on the idyllic French island, she does dress down a little into a designer kaftan.
She told Britain's Telegraph newspaper: "On the beach, I will wear my bikini a Melissa Odabash kaftan and Montana flat sandals from our Cruise 2011 collection."
Despite her riches, the 43-year-old creative director wants a simple gift for the festive period.
She said: "The best gift for me would be to have more free time with my daughter."
