Ashley Todd, McCain Supporter, Mugged and Branded with a ‘B’

A Republican volunteer worker has claimed that she is the victim of a political attack. Ashley Todd alleges that she was robbed at knife point at an ATM and her attacker held her down and carved a “B,” presumably for Barack Obama, on her face after noticing a John McCain sticker on her car.

The 20-year-old’s story raises questions. Todd didn’t immediately seek help after the attack and waited to report it to authorities. She sought medical help for her injuries the next day.

Many are questioning if the attack was politically motivated or if the matter is an elaborate hoax.

Police are investigating Todd’s claims.
