The JLS singer thinks people are surprised to learn about his culinary prowess and he is looking forward to being in the kitchen preparing the traditional festive meal – which typically sees families eating turkey with cranberry sauce, vegetables and potatoes - for his family.
He said: “I am looking forward to spending time at home – singing and dancing with my family and making my mum a cup of tea.
“Plus, people are always surprised to know that I cook the Christmas dinner!”
Oritse – who performs in the ‘Love You More’ group alongside Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill – added that his presence in the kitchen is just one of the ways he says thank you to his mother for believing in him and his music.
He said: “I put this band together with everyone telling me it was impossible. Only my mum had faith in me. So now I feel very proud, and I’m so grateful to have three other amazing guys to share the journey with.”
