Ashley Todd: Political Attack Claims Are Not True

A woman who claimed to have been the victim of a politically motivated attack has admitted that she made up the story. Ashley Todd alleged that she was robbed at knife point at an ATM and her attacker held her down and carved a “B,” presumably for Barack Obama, on her face after noticing a John McCain sticker on her car.

Police say that the 20-year-old admitted today that she made up the entire story. Assistant chief of the Pittsburgh police department’s investigation division Maurite Bryant says that Todd won’t explain why she invented the story or how the ‘B’ was scratched onto her face.

Todd is being charged with filing a false police reports.
