Credit Card Belonging to Anne Pressly Used Moments after Beating

A credit card belonging to Little Rock, Ark. news anchor Anne Pressly was used just moments after she was beaten late Sunday night, early Monday morning.

Pressly remains in critical condition after her mother found her lying motionless in her bed Monday morning, suffering from severe blunt trauma to her head and upper body. Pressly’s mother had tried to call but because there was no answer she decided to go check on her daughter.

Investigators have given few details about the crime and have been unable to ask Pressly any questions due to her condition but some facts have been released. There were no signs of forced entry and clues have pointed to a random robbery rather than a stalker.

That belief seems to be supported by the recent revelation that a credit card belonging to Pressly was used just moments after the attack at a Shell gas station near her home. Police are currently reviewing the surveillance footage from the station.
