Convicted Bali Bombers will Face Firing Squad in Indonesia

The three men convicted of killing 202 people in a pair of nightclub bombings in Bali have been sentenced to death by firing squad and will meet their fate in November.

While the three had requested beheading due to their Islamic beliefs the authorities announced they would go before a firing squad for the October 2002 bombings of two popular clubs in the Bali tourist spot of Kuta.

The bombings were the deadliest terrorist act in the history of Indonesia and of the 202 killed 164 were foreign nationals.
