AP Top 25 College Football Scores: #5 Florida Gators Roll, Crush Kentucky Wildcats in SEC Clash

Tim Tebow was 11/15 passing for 180 yards and two touchdowns and added 48 yards rushing and another two scores, Percy Harvin had a touchdown on the ground as well as touchdown through the air and the #5 Florida Gators (6-1, 4-1)) rolled up 446 yards of offense to crush the Kentucky Wildcats (5-3, 1-3) 63-5 on Saturday.

Florida wasted little time in putting the game away as they put 28 points on the board in the first quarter with touchdown runs from Tebow and Brandon James while Harvin scored on a 16-yard run and a 33-yard toss from Tebow.

Early in the second quarter Tebow pushed the Gators lead to 35-0 when he hooked up with Jeffrey Demps on a 61-yard touchdown pass. After the Wildcats managed a field goal for their first points Tebow answered for Florida with a 3-yard TD run with under 30 seconds left in the half.

As quick as the Gators started the first half they jumped just as fast in the second as Ahmad Black picked off Mike Hartline on the first play and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown and Florida was cruising at 49-3.

The Gators would add two more touchdowns and then took a safety late in the fourth to account for the rest of the scoring.

Florida will now face the Georgia Bulldogs in a key SEC battle next week while Kentucky travels to Mississippi State.
