NFL Scores Week 8: New England Patriots Overcome Fourth Quarter Deficit to Top Visiting St. Louis Rams

Kevin Faulk had 60 yards rushing and added 47 yards receiving and a touchdown, Randy Moss had 102 yards receiving and Matt Cassel overcame a pair of interceptions to toss the game-winning TD as the New England Patriots (5-2) beat the St. Louis Rams (2-5) 23-16 on Sunday.

New England used a Benjarvus Green-Ellis 2-yard touchdown run and a pair of field goals from Stephen Gostkowski to take a 13-10 lead into halftime but the Rams knotted the game at 13-13 in the third quarter on Josh Brown’s second field goal of the game.

Brown gave the Rams a 16-13 advantage in the fourth quarter but Gostkowski booted a 41-yarder with 8:22 left to tie the game. New England’s defense then held the Rams, setting up the winning drive that was capped by a Cassel to Faulk 15-yard toss with 3:13 left on the clock.
