Chad Pennington threw for 314 yards and a touchdown, Ted Ginn Jr. had 175 yards receiving, Ricky Williams scored the go-ahead touchdown and the Miami Dolphins (3-4) forced four turnovers in a 25-16 victory over the Buffalo Bills (5-2) on Sunday.
Pennington put the Dolphins in front 7-0 in the first quarter when he hit Anthony Fasano on a 2-yard touchdown toss but the Bills got three field goals from Rian Lindell to take a 9-7 lead into halftime.
That lead was extended to 16-7 in the third quarter when Marshawn Lynch scored on an 8-yard run but the Dolphins got a 43-yard field goal from Dan Carpenter to pull to within 16-10 and then Williams scored on a 3yard run to put the Dolphins in front 17-16 heading into the fourth.
After another field goal and a safety Carpenter put the game away with his third boot, a 35-yarder with just under four minutes left on the clock.
