In the 2nd Congressional District, political outsider John Frary faces a big uphill climb as he trails Democratic incumbent Mike Michaud by 41 points.

In the presidential race, Democrat Barack Obama leads Republican John McCain in both districts. McCain trails overall with 35 percent to Obama's 56 percent.
