Britain's Prince Harry gave his ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, a £1,000 diamond bracelet for Christmas.
Although the couple ended their six-year romance in September, the
Prince showed he still cares about the African-born blonde, who was
said to be "surprised and delighted," by the white gold gift and Harry
phoning her on Christmas morning (25.12.10).
A source said: "Harry's kindness made her think about whether they made the right decision in calling it a day.
"They're both finding it especially difficult being apart at Christmas. In previous years they spent time together."
In the past Harry would spend Boxing Day with Chelsy after spending Christmas Day with the rest of the royal family.
This year Chelsy is on holiday in Mauritius and plans to join friends in her native Zimbabwe for New Year – and friends think Harry is trying to give her space to think about the future.
The source continued: "Harry and Chelsy are still trying to work out
whether or not they have a future. They will always care for one
another.
"They don't talk as often as they used to - I think he's giving her space to decide."
