Kate Middleton is set to be immortalised as a waxwork.
The British royal-to-be, whose engagement to the country’s Prince
William was announced last month, will have her likeness cast by the
famous Madam Tussauds museum in London.
The museum - which houses wax sculptures of hundreds of celebrities and
public figures - is hoping to book a sitting with the 28-year-old
future princess soon after her wedding in April next year – and hope to
unveil her waxwork on in late 2011.
The brunette beauty would be joining her future husband and in-laws Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles, Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry in the museum.
However, a spokeswoman for Madame Tussauds said Kate's likeness being
cast "depends on what she wants and whether she can donate clothing".
The source added to the BBC: "I imagine the sculptors will probably go to her and the sitting normally takes a couple of hours."
Kate - who will be known as Catherine once she is married - has already
had her looks captured by The Royal Mint for a commemorative royal
wedding coin, which will feature her and Prince William, earlier this
month.
