Monday Night Football Scores: Tennessee Titans Use Big Fourth Quarter to Drop Indianapolis Colts, Stay Perfect

Kerry Collins was 24/37 passing for 197 yards, Chris Johnson collected 77 yards rushing and a touchdown, LenDale White pounded in a pair of TDs and the Tennessee Titans (7-0) used a huge fourth quarter to drop the Indianapolis Colts (3-4) 31-21 on Monday Night Football to stay perfect on the season.

Both teams struggled to find any offensive momentum in the opening half as the Titans had to settle for a pair of field goals from Rob Bironis while the Colts got a 10-yard touchdown pass from Peyton Manning to Dallas Clark to take a 7-6 lead into halftime.

Manning pushed the Indy lead to 14-6 in the third quarter when Manning and Clark hooked up on a 19-yard toss but the Titans evened the score up after LenDale White pounded it in from a yard out and Kerry Collins hit Ahmard Hall on a two-point conversion.

Bironas gave the Titans the lead early in the fourth quarter when he connected from 48 yards out and after the Tennessee defense held the Colts on a fourth and two Collins moved his squad down the field and White scored from a yard out for the second time to put the score at 24-14 with 4:37 left in the game.

Facing a ten-point deficit and short on time Manning tried to move the Colts but was quickly picked off for the second time. Chris Johnson turned the Manning mistake into points right away as he went 16-yards for a touchdown and Tennessee sealed the game at 31-14.

Indy managed to punch in a touchdown with just over a minute left in the game but it did little to affect the outcome.
