Dawna Lee Heising, CEO of “Eye on Excellence Productionstm”and producer of “The Alien’s Wife,” has announced the second episode in the series, which follows the earth-bound adventures of an alien who, in 1947, escapes from his crashed spaceship in Roswell, New Mexico. Heising, who also stars in the series title role as Betty, prefaces the events of the second episode, which is now airing: “Irwin, the assumed name of our alien, has taken refuge in a nearby diner, where he meets waitress Betty. The FBI, however, under the false assumption that Irwin is a Communist spy, sets out to capture him.”
In Episode Two, “The Chase Begins,” Irwin and Betty find themselves in Las Vegas down to their last dollar. They get jobs at the Desert Inn Casino, where Irwin becomes a celebrity as a stand up comic, putting a singer out of a job. Irwin and Betty tie the knot and are on the run again after FBI Agent Fitch shows up in town. On the trail of the spaceship, Irwin and Betty end up in Area 51 where Colonel Wallace, the head of Operation Paper Cut, holds them captive. In Area 51, Irwin and Betty meet Irwin’s fellow aliens, Gary and Skyler, whom he was sent to rescue. They all escape in a stolen cargo plane and end up in Los Angeles. Stanley Goodrich, who has co-hosted numerous “Eye on Entertainment” episodes with Heising, plays FBI Agent Fitch. His other career is that of a PR Manager for a producer of computer software. John Cox, the writer of the “Alien’s Wife” series, also produces, directs and edits the show, which is being shot at the Time Warner Studio in Costa Mesa, Calif.
The narrator of “The Alien’s Wife” is Bill Suarez, and noted vocalist, vocal coach and entertainer Jill Jaxx plays Doris Lake. Jaxx is also the producer of Bill Suarez’ new CD, “The Impossible Dream.” Suarez, who has appeared on television and shared the stage with such legendary performers as Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Perry Como and Carol Burnett, first gained fame for his singing appearances with the Young Americans. Suarez, however, abandoned his career to care for ailing parents and an aunt until last years, when, says Jaxx, “The growing wave of nostalgia sweeping the country prompted fans to contact him, imploring him to return to the recording scene.” After a few months of singing lessons with Jaxx, the two felt his resonant baritone was ready and approached LA record producer Dino Maddalone about doing an album.
