Coronation Street's Beverley Callard has been invited to 10 New Year's Eve (31.12.10) parties.
The 53-year-old actress explained she and husband Jon McEwan have been
inundated with various offers to ring the new year in, but aren't sure
which of the many bashes to attend.
She told BANG Showbiz: "We've got about 10 New Year's Eve invites and
we're just trying to figure out which parties we'll go to. Who knows?
Maybe we won't even go to any!"
However, Beverley - who has launched an exercise DVD after shedding
more than two stone recently - admitted she will find it difficult not
to give in to the temptation of the delicious food and drink
surrounding her over the Christmas and new year period.
She added: "I have to admit I'm not a saint over the festive period
when it comes to food and drink. I do try not to over-indulge but it's
hard.
"But I've worked really, really hard recently to lose the weight in a
healthy way and I don't want to throw it all the way. It's going to
take a lot of determination."
