USA Today Super 25 HS Football Rankings: Trinity (Euless, TX) Moves Up to #1

Trinity (Euless, TX) has become the new No. 1 in the USA Today Super 25 high school football rankings.

Trinity (8-0) entered the season ranked No. 2 and has remained at the position until this week when then-No. 1 Byrnes (Duncan, SC) was upset over the weekend 35-28 by Dorman (Roebuck, SC).

After the surprising loss, Byrnes (7-1) dropped out of the USA Today rankings. It was Chris Miller's first loss as Byrnes coach after 23 consecutive wins.

Trinity, who won the 5A championship last season, defeated Grapevine, 45-0 to continue their undefeated season.

Trinity is led by quarterback Denarius McGhee and running backs Dontrayevous Robinson and Tevin Williams.

Dorman (9-0) is the only school to move into the USA Today Super 25 this week.
