Jude Law bought Sienna Miller a £130,000 ring for Christmas.
The ‘Alfie’ actor – who reunited with the ‘Factory Girl’ star in
October 2009 following a three-year split – stunned his girlfriend by
hiding the diamond and sapphire jewellery inside another of her gifts,
a restored grand piano worth £10,000.
A source said: “She wept after opening up the piano lid and discovering
a wooden box – made from the same wood as the piano – containing a
diamond and sapphire ring.”
News of the lavish gift fuelled speculation Jude – who has children
Rafferty, 14, Iris, 10, and eight-year-old Rudy with ex-wife Sadie
Frost, as well as daughter Sophia, 15 months, from a brief romance with
Samantha Burke – and Sienna will marry next year.
The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Jude would love to
make Sienna his wife before next year is out. Family and close friends
are expecting a save-the-date card any time soon.”
In August, it was reported that Jude and Sienna celebrated their love in a marriage blessing ceremony in Southeast Asia.
The couple apparently took part in a traditional 'Baci' ceremony during
a holiday in Laos, Southeast Asia, where their relationship was blessed
by a village shaman, who tied their wrists together with red-and-white
bracelets.
Prince Nithakong Somanith - cultural and artistic adviser to the United
Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation - met with
the couple during their holiday and told them all about the ceremony,
which is not legally binding, before sending them into the hills to
meet the shaman.
He explained "The Baci ceremony is performed everywhere and was also performed at the Royal Court.
"It usually takes place on the morning of the wedding and is followed
by the wedding blessing by monks and feasting and drinking beer and
rice alcohol in the evening. Jude Law and Sienna Miller will already be
man and wife in people's eyes here."
