Kate Garraway hopes her life will become less busy in 2011.

The 'Daybreak' entertainment editor – who has two children, Darcey, four, and Billy, 17 months, with husband Derek Draper – wants to "savour every moment" of the coming year, and not get so stressed out with her hectic life.

She said: "As I get older I'm conscious of the fact that I want to savour every moment, even if that means being stuck in a traffic jam and trying to appreciate the view out of the window!

"I need to stop rushing my life away."

However, what Kate is also dreaming of is a lie-in, as she recently admitted while she loves her job on the ITV1 early morning show, it does leave her exhausted.

She said: "All I want is a couple of extra hours in the day or maybe a lie-in.

"I'm in a lucky position because I do present 'Daybreak' when Christine Bleakley is unavailable and when Lorraine Kelly is off. I've got the best of both worlds. I'm very lucky."
