Eye on Entertainment Covers the Red Carpet at the 2010 CAPE Soiree

The Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE) Event Was Held at Vibiana in Los Angeles, CA

Eye on Entertainment covered the red carpet as The Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE) presented its annual "CAPE Soiree" at Vibiana  at 214 S. Main Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 on December 2, 2010 from 6:30-11:00pm. The annual CAPE Soiree benefits diversity in arts and entertainment.  It was a glamorous event with Hollywood celebrities, a silent auction, photo opportunities and food from some of LA's finest dining establishments.

The 2010 CAPE Soiree honored Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment, with the Visionary Award and actor/comedian Ken Jeong (Community, Señor Ben Chang) with their New Horizons Award. The star-studded event was co-hosted by Amy Hill (50 First Dates) and Leonardo Nam (He’s Just Not That Into You).

Celebrities in attendance included:

Carrie Ann Inaba, Keiko Agena, Lynn Chen, Karin Anna Cheung, Justin Chon, Archie Kao, Jae Suh, James Kyson-Lee, Quentin Lee, Randall Park, Ryan Suda, Elizabeth Sung, Iris Yamashita, Teresa Huang, Koji Steven Sakai, Mark Dacascos, Rick Yune, Katee Shean, Susan Hirasuna, Ted Chen, Beau Sia, Eddie Kim, Roy Choi, Aaron Takahashi, Sue Jin, Dawen, Kristina Wong.

The 2010 CAPE SOIREE red carpet was hosted by screenwriter and actor Ken Choy, who writes for Hyphen Magazine, 8asians.com, and aarisings.com.  He was senior artist with Asian American Renaissance in Minnesota where he created AARGH, the Asian American cabaret with David Mura. He has received numerous fellowships and grants including the two Jerome Foundation fellowships.
