AP Top 25 College Football Schedule: #1 Texas Longhorns Battle #7 Texas Tech Red Raiders

#1 Texas Longhorns will travel to Lubbock and square off against #7 Texas Tech Red Raiders in yet another heated Big 12 battle on Saturday at 8pm on ABC.

Thus far, the Longhorns have survived the nation's most brutal four-game schedule as they faced then-No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners, then-No. 11 Missouri Tigers, and then-No. 7 Oklahoma State Cowboys, winning all three games.

They now face the Red Raiders, who have the nation's top passing offense and second-best total offense. Texas Tech is led by arguably the nation's best quarterback-wide receiver combo in Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree. Harrell leads the country with 256 completions and 3,147 passing yards, while Crabtree is considered the nation's best receiver.

Texas Tech also has a tough schedule as they face their second consecutive ranked opponent. Last week, they routed then-No. 23 Kansas Jayhawks, 63-21. After their battle against Texas, they will face No. 9 Oklahoma State and No. 4 Oklahoma over their next three games.

With the talk about Texas Tech's offense, the Longhorns counteract with quarterback Colt McCoy, who is the consensus frontrunner for the 2008 Heisman Trophy. McCoy leads the country with a completion percentage of 81.8, and has thrown 21 touchdowns and only four interceptions.

McCoy completed a school-record 38 passes for a career-high 391 yards and two touchdowns in last week's win over Oklahoma State.
