Summer Enrichment Program Sees Record Month in Rebounding Economy

SuperCamp was proud to announce on Tuesday a record number of enrollments for the month of December in 2010.

Co-Founder and President Bobbi Deporter attributes the record month to a healthier economy this year than in years past.

“It has been very evident this winter that the United States economy is back on the rise,” Mrs. Deporter said.  “We have seen that with more disposable income than in years past, parents are once again fully investing in their child’s life by enrolling them in summer enrichment programs like SuperCamp.”

After passing 56,000 graduates in 2010, SuperCamp is expecting another great year in 2011 after bringing in new locations across the country – on the campuses of Kent State University, UC Berkeley and University of South Florida – in addition to the five prestigious sites where SuperCamp had already resided.

These summer programs help students improve their grades, confidence, self-esteem and motivation by providing them with powerful learning and life skills that they can apply in all subject areas at school and in life.

The results from SuperCamp have been documented in independent studies, including a doctoral thesis involving over 6,000 SuperCamp graduates.  In this research, 73 percent of students reported attaining higher grades following SuperCamp.  Over 80 percent of respondents indicated that they gained confidence and self-esteem because of SuperCamp.
