A 110-year-old Malaysian man has reportedly found an 82-year-old bride.
Ahmad Mohamad Isa had told a newspaper last week he was lonely and was looking to take a wife to look after him and keep him company.
The report captured the eye of Sanah Ahmad, 82 - who has been widowed for 30 years – who asked her children to contact Ahmad’s family.
Ahmad – who has 20 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren from five marriages – had said: “It doesn’t matter who she is, as long as she can cook for me.
“It is lonely to live alone and I am afraid to sleep alone. If I have a wife she can take care of me.”
Mrs Sanah said she was attracted to Ahmad because he bears a striking resemblance to her late husband and both men shared the same name.
Meanwhile, in India, a 94-year-old man has claimed he has become the world’s oldest father. Ramajit Raghav of Kharkhoda in Haryana, northern India, says his wife Shakuntala - who is in her 50s - gave birth to a son called Karamjit, whom he says is “God’s gift” to him and his wife.
