Wassup 2008: Popular Commercial Returns with Viral Dynamo

The "Wasssup" commercial series, made famous eight years ago by Budweiser, has returned with a new spoof that has caught viral fire. The 2008 spoof, done independently with the original characters, does not feature Budweiser but returns to the same comedic popularity from years ago when it had people from around the world greeting each other with a tongue flashing gesture "wasssssssup". In just eight days, 313 people have uploaded the video with the most popular version gaining 3,170,662 views on YouTube alone. Trendrr, the social media tracking tool shows that the most popular clip received 445,128 views per day since October 24th. In addition, the clip averaged 1,225 comments per day or 8,579 total, and was favorited 22,079 times total, for an average of 3,164 times per day; making it a viral sensation that continues to grow.
