Lindsay Lohan met with her "second mother", Jamie Lee Curtis yesterday (05.01.11).
The 'Machete' star completed a court-ordered 90-day stay at rehab clinic the Betty Ford Center this week and by chance ran into Hollywood actress Jamie - who has been a support to her since they starred in the film 'Freaky Friday' together, according to Lindsay's father, Michael Lohan.
Michael, 50, said Jamie was "like a second mother" to his 24-year-old daughter and described their meeting as an "absolute coincidence".
He also told E! News: "We will see that all the people that were in Lindsay's life when things were going well, when she was in 'Freaky Friday', 'Mean Girls', are now coming back into her life.
"She is going back to her roots, going back to all the people who were in her life when she was doing good. I believe she is going to prove to the entire Industry she is back for good."
Lindsay left rehab on Tuesday (04.01.10) and is also set to relocate from her West Hollywood home to a new, four-bedroom house in the city's Venice area - which is opposite the home of her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson, whom she has had a volatile on/off relationship with since September 2008.
Sam, 33, is said to be upset her former girlfriend is moving in so close, but Michael - who was divorced from Lindsay's mother Dina in 2007 - insists Lindsay will move if necessary.
He added: "If it is going to make a problem, she will move. But she has already paid one month rent."
Lindsay was ordered to serve her rehab sentence for breaching the conditions of her probation relating to a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence (DUI).
Although she is free, Lindsay will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing with a psychiatrist until a court hearing on February 24, where it will be decided what will happen next.
