L'Wren Scott's label regrets

L'Wren Scott wishes she's started her fashion label earlier.

The designer - who has also worked as a stylist and a model - has really seen her clothing collection take off in recent years and regrets she didn't have the confidence to start it when she was younger.

The 43-year-old fashionista said: "My biggest fashion mistake is not starting my own brand sooner."

L'Wren - who is dating Rolling Stones legend Sir Mick Jagger - says she has always been determined to succeed in her life but will make opportunities happen rather than waiting for them.

The Utah-born star told Britain's Tatler magazine: "The best piece of advice I've been given is that opportunity is not going to come knocking on your front door in Utah. You're going to have to go out there and work for it yourself in order to achieve your goals in life."

However, her determination to succeed means she is often critical of herself.

She said: "I am my biggest rival because I always think I can do better."
