Coronation Street's Sally Webster will fall for a hunky newcomer.
The scorned housewife - played by Sally Dynevor - will see her luck turn around when flash businessman Jeff causes a stir among the women of Weatherfied when he arrives on the cobbles.
After having a hard time since discovering her husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell) had fathered a child during his saucy affair with Molly Dobbs (Vicky Binns), Sally can't believe her luck when the handsome ladies' man asks her out on a date.
However, she has to compete with fellow singleton Gail Platt (Helen Worth) for the affections of Jeff - who is to be played by former 'London's Burning' star Steven Houghton - who pounces on the strapping stud almost as soon as he appears on the street.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Sally is flattered by the attention. Jeff is just gorgeous and a real catch for the ladies of Weatherfield.
"Kevin is very jealous when he realises there is a new man in his wife's life. With Jeff on her arm, Sally will be the envy of every woman on the Street."
This is the second love interest for the newly-saucy Sally in recent weeks, as she shared a passionate smooch with Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) - the husband of Molly and Kevin's former best friend - when the lonely neighbours spent New Year's Eve (31.12.10) together.
