Elizabeth Edwards Leaves Husband Completely Out of Will

Elizabeth Edwards left her estranged husband, former North Carolina senator John Edwards, completely out of her will. She left all of her belongings to their three children and named their oldest daughter Catharine, 28, as the executor of the will.

"All of my furniture, furnishings, household goods, jewelry, china, silverware and personal effects and any automobiles ... to be divided among them ..." Edwards says in the will.

Edwards, 61, died at her North Carolina home on December 7 after a long battle with cancer. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004. The disease went into remission, but returned in 2007 and spread to her bones. In early December 2010, Edwards released a statement saying she stopped treatment because the cancer had spread to her liver and was no longer treatable.

Edwards’ marriage to John began falling apart in 2008 after the politician admitted to having an affair with Rielle Hunter and fathering a child with her. Elizabeth and John separated in early 2010.
