Simon Cowell's favourite meal is shepherd's pie.
The music mogul loves to have the traditional British dish - which is made of lamb mince and vegetables in gravy and topped with mashed potatoes - for his lunch most days, according to 'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest.
The presenter revealed Simon's appetite for the meal when asked what is different about the pop star search show since the British star left.
Ryan said: "There's less - what is that English dish he always ordered for lunch? Shepherd's pie? He loves shepherd's pie."
Referring to Simon's cigarette habit, he jokingly added: "There are also less clouds of smoke. And we start earlier."
'American Idol' judge Randy Jackson has also revealed the dynamic of the show has changed since Simon decided to quit to launch a US version of his British music reality show 'The X Factor'.
In a joint interview with Ryan and new judging panel members Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler with Entertainment Weekly magazine, Randy said: "It's definitely been interesting. We definitely miss [Simon], but it's a different kind of vibe. It's a different kind of energy now. And I think in season 10 the show actually really needed it ... It's not about replacing him ... People have been saying to us, 'Who's mean?' We've all traded off on that because I think you have to always give people the truth, no matter what."
