Harrison Ford not interested in being himself

Harrison Ford is not interested in being himself.

The 68-year-old actor does not want to have a real job as it would mean he would have to think about himself and he prefers the lives of other people, such as news anchor Mike Pomeroy in his new comedy movie 'Morning Glory'.

He said: "I don't want a real job. I've never wanted to have a production company that I have to watch and oversee.

"It doesn't interest me to be Harrison Ford. It interests me to be Mike Pomeroy and Indiana Jones and Jack Ryan. I don't want to be in the Harrison Ford business. I take what I do seriously, but I don't take myself seriously."

However, the Hollywood legend does believe he is "misinterpreted" by many people as the public often think he is grumpy.

He told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "Am I grumpy? I might be. But I think maybe sometimes it's misinterpreted.

"I've always been an independent son of a b**ch. So, if I'm grumpy, then call me grumpy. I'm all right with that."
