Amanda Holden flees giant pigeon at BGT auditions

Amanda Holden fled a six-foot pigeon at the 'Britain's Got Talent' auditions.

The actress - who is six months pregnant with her second child - leapt out of her seat on the judging panel after auditionee Phil Zimmerman leaped towards her and fellow judges Michael McIntyre and Louis Walsh after his giant bird act was buzzed off by all three judges.

A source at London's Hammersmith Apollo - where the auditions were being held - told The Sun newspaper: "Amanda was really scared.

"The guy was very strange and she was worried about what he was going to do when he tried to approach her."

"She was convinced he was going to grab her."

It later transpired that Phil - who was held back by security guards - was just trying to give comedian Michael a flyer for his comedy night.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that many people auditioning for this year's 'Britain's Got Talent' have previously been rejected from other TV shows.

The judging panel are being faced with failed acts from 'Got To Dance', 'Big Brother' 'Don't Stop Believing' and 'Pop Idol'.

Auditionees include six-year-old dancer Theo McKenzie Hayton, who first took part in Sky1's 'Got To Dance', dance troupe Dice from 'Don't Stop Believing', and 'Big Brother 10' contestant Angel McKenzie.

DJ Talent who appeared on 'BGT' two years ago and Nathalie Makoma, 28, from the Dutch version of 'Pop Idol' have also showed off their talents to the judges.

A source commented: "I thought this was meant to uncover new acts, not regurgitate old ones."
