Britain's Prince Charles is a fan of 'Dancing On Ice'.
The heir to the throne and his wife Camilla - who are self-confessed reality TV addicts - will be tuning in to the celebrity ice-skating contest when it re-launches in Britain on Sunday (09.01.11) night.
Contestant Johnson Beharry - a soldier who was awarded the Victoria Cross for saving injured comrades in Iraq - said the prince made his confession at a meeting at Buckingham Palace.
Johnson, 31 - who suffered serious brain injuries during his brave rescue effort - said: "Prince Charles came up to me and said, 'What's this I hear, are you doing Dancing on Ice?'.
"I said I was doing it as a new fitness challenge, especially after my injury.
"He said he can't wait for the show to start and that he and Camilla will be watching."
The former soldier also claims the royal pair even want tickets to see him perform live on the ITV1 show.
Johnson - who will compete against a string of stars including Kerry Katona and rapper Vanilla Ice - added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "He said they would love to come and see me. I will try to get an invitation and I hope they can.
"I know they will both be supporting me."
Charles and Camilla have previously admitted to being avid viewers of BBC's celebrity dance contest 'Strictly Come Dancing' and gardening shows featuring Alan Titchmarsh.
