Chris Johnson rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown while Rob Bironas booted four field goals including a 41-yarder in overtime as the Tennessee Titans (8-0) kept their perfect record intact with a 19-16 home victory over the Green Bay Packers (4-4) on Sunday.
Tennessee was up 6-3 in the second quarter when Aaron Rodgers and Donald Driver hooked up on a 5-yard touchdown pass to give the Packers a 10-6 advantage but the Titans came right back and Johnson pounded it in from 3-yards out to put Tennessee back in front 13-10 at halftime.
Both teams traded field goals in the third quarter and with just over five minutes left in the game Mason Crosby connected on the equalizer, hitting 38-yarder to tie the game 16-16. Tennessee still had plenty of time and Bironas had a chance to win the game in regulation but he missed from 47-yards out and the game went to OT.
On their first possession of the extra frame the Titans moved Bironas a bit closer and he nailed a 41-yard field goal for the win.
