Utility Stocks Mostly Lower

DPL Inc. (NYSE:DPL) surged 0.12% to $25.63. DPL Inc. is a regional energy company. DPL’s principal subsidiary is The Dayton Power and Light Company (DP&L). DP&L sells electricity to residential, commercial, industrial and governmental customers in a 6,000 square mile area of West Central Ohio.

Westar Energy, Inc. (NYSE:WR) slid 0.20% to $25.28. Westar Energy, Inc. (Westar Energy) is an electric utility operating in Kansas. It provides electric generation, transmission and distribution services to approximately 685,000 customers in Kansas.

Integrys Energy Group, Inc. (NYSE:TEG) fell 0.08% to $48.21. Integrys Energy Group, Inc. is a holding company for its regulated utility and non-regulated business units.

Nicor Inc. (NYSE:GAS) lost 0.50% to $49.75. Nicor Inc. is a holding company engaged in the gas distribution business. The Company’s subsidiaries include Northern Illinois Gas Company (Nicor Gas) and Tropical Shipping.
