Donovan McNabb was 28/43 passing for 349 yards and two touchdowns, Brent Celek had 131 yards receiving and David Akers booted four field goals in the second half as the Philadelphia Eagles (5-3) collected their third straight victory topping the Seattle Seahawks (2-6) 26-7 on Sunday.
The Seahawks were the first on the board as Koren Robinson took a Seneca Wallace pass 90-yards for a touchdown and Seattle was in front 7-0 in the first quarter. Philly couldn’t get their offense going until the second but McNabb made up for lost time hitting Reggie Brown on a 22-yard strike and then finding Todd Herremans on a one-yard toss with 40 seconds left in the half to put the Eagles in front 14-7 t the break.
Neither team could find the endzone in the second half but Akers booted a pair of field goals in the third quarter and then added a pair in the fourth to seal the game for the Eagles.
Seattle managed just 210 yards of total offense and 90 of those came on the touchdown play in the first and they collected just ten first downs on the day.
