Nicole Scherzinger is a "supervillain" on stage.
The 'Poison' singer is delighted to have landed a role as a baddie in the forthcoming 'Men in Black 3' movie because her part echoes the "fun" she has in her musical performances.
She said: "On stage I always get into a kind of superhero or supervillain role when I'm performing,.
"But supervillains are more fun, don't you think? If you're going to take over the world, you might as well have fun with it."
The 32-year-old star - who is in a relationship with 25-year-old Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton - also admitted she had deliberately cultivated a more raunchy persona in the video for her recent single 'Poison'.
She told FHM magazine: "I wanted to come out looking kind of dangerous, do something different, get people's attention."
Nicole recently said it was "inevitable" that she and her former Pussycat Dolls bandmates - Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton - would fight.
She said:" It's inevitable that any girl group who are breathing the same airspace 24/7 are going to bicker. But I think we handled it well and were respectful towards each other."
