Sammy Winward has a secret crush on 'Peep Show' star David Mitchell.

The 'Emmerdale' actress - who is a single mother to her five-year-old daughter Mia - admitted she has the hots for the geeky comedian because of how "funny" he is, and thinks they could both talk about history together.

Asked who her celebrity crush was, she said: "David Mitchell from 'Peep Show' is ace. We both like history, so we could talk about that all night.

"He's talented and funny and I do find him attractive, in a weird way."

However, the 25-year-old actress confessed she has one habit which may put off potential boyfriends - biting her nails.

She said: "My grubbiest habit? Biting my nails. But I've been growing them for five weeks so hopefully it will last.

"I know 25 is late in life to be giving up biting your nails, but I wear false ones for work so I've never had much incentive to stop!"
