Maine Poll Released by Rasmussen Reports: Barack Obama 56%, John McCain 43%

The Democratic candidate is now viewed favorably by 63% of voters in Maine while earning negative reviews from 36%.

McCain’s numbers are 52% favorable and 45% unfavorable.

The candidates are essentially even among men while Obama has a huge lead among women. As in the rest of the country, McCain leads by a huge margin among those who attend church on a regular basis while Obama leads by similar margins among those who rarely or never attend worship services.
