Drake set for Florence collaboration?

Drake is set to collaborate with Florence and the Machine.

The 'Forever' rapper was joined onstage by flamed haired singer Florence Welch when he played in London on Saturday night (08.01.11), fuelling rumours they will write a track together.

Florence - who is presently writing her second album - had reportedly gone to the rapper's show the previous night (07.01.10) as a fan, where he is said to have approached her to ask if she'd sing with him. The pair originally met each other at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) in Los Angeles last year and stayted in contact since.

When she performed with Drake, 24, Florence, also 24, sung the part recorded by Alicia Keys' in the track 'Fireworks', from Drake's debut, 'Thank Me Later'.

While he was in the UK, Drake also got the opportunity to witness his first soccer match, watching London team Chelsea take on Ipswitch yesterday (09.01.11), which he was particularly excited about.

He tweeted: "Just saw my first football match. AMAZING! (sic)"

When asked who he was supporting, he replied: "Haaaaa ok wait wait I am not choosing teams. I just love the game! Incredible day."

Florence, meanwhile, will tour the US staring in May as support for U2 on their 360 degree tour.
