Kerry Katona is taking part in 'Dancing on Ice' to make her children proud.
The 30 year old - who is mum to Molly, nine, Lilly-Sue, seven, Heidi, three, and two-year-old Max - said she decided to enter the celebrity ice skating ITV1 show in order to show her kids she is not an embarrassment.
Kerry - who has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in the past - said: "I haven't really thought about [public reaction]. I just don't want to embarrass my kids. It's all about having fun and doing my kids proud.
"I want my kids to go into school and say: 'Kerry Katona, that's my mum.' That's all I want."
Kerry - who shed more than three stone last year - revealed another bonus to being on the show is the skimpy costumes which she wishes she could wear in everyday life.
She told Star magazine: "Every girl's fantasy is to wear the little dresses and such. And it's every man's fantasy to see her in it. You can't get enough Lycra! I'd go Tesco shopping in those outfits if I could get away with it. Maybe not. I can see the headlines now: 'Bloody hell, Kerry's lost the plot - again'."
The former Atomic Kitten singer, who was once married to Molly and Lilly-Sue's father, former Westlife star Brian McFadden, admitted the show is hard work but said she is enjoying the experience.
She said: "I've hurt my ribs training but it's completely worth it. I'm really nervous but also extremely excited.
"It is full on. But I'm having so much fun. When you see some of the VTs, you'll think we need help. We're not right in the head!"
