Amy Winehouse romancing British barman

Amy Winehouse is dating a British barman she met in Brazil.

The 'Back to Black' singer - who split from film director Reg Traviss, 33, last year amid reports he was still romancing his former lover and still has a complicated relationship with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil - has reportedly fallen for the man known only as Paul since meeting him at her hotel in Rio de Janeiro.

A source said: "Amy is having a great time in the carnival capital. She's telling people back home she has met a guy from Scunthorpe and that they had instantly hit it off.

"They've been sneaking off together and she can't keep the smile from her face."

Though Paul hails from Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, East England, he is currently working out in South America.

Amy, 27, is currently on a mini-comeback tour of Brazil, where she is said to have been paid £5 million for five shows.

The singer has previously told friends she was looking for a new boyfriend and would be happier to meet someone "normal".

A friend said: "She never thought that she'd be single at 27, and now she just really wants to find a normal guy to settle down with and have a baby.

"She'd be more than happy to go out with someone away from the limelight - she is just fed up of being alone. She'd date a builder or painter and decorator, someone who's kind and funny."
