Christine Bleakley could be set to replace Holly Willoughby on 'Dancing On Ice'.
The 31-year-old TV presenter is reportedly being lined up to fill the shoes of Holly - who is expecting her second child in May - as a light-hearted break from her more series role on troubled morning show 'Daybreak'.
An insider explained: "When Christine signed up to ITV the bosses told her they had plans to make her a massive star on the channel outside of presenting 'Daybreak'. And this is just the start of it. They want her to be able to turn her hand to lots of shows, and something like 'Dancing On Ice' is perfect for her.
"It would be nice for her to have something a bit lighter than her serious role on 'Daybreak' and TV bosses are convinced she will have amazing chemistry with co-presenter Phillip Schofield."
If the plans go ahead, Christine will step in to take the reins during the second half of the Sunday night show when 29-year-old Holly reduced her workload.
The source added to Star magazine: "The plan is that she would come in and present the results and skate-off to let Holly have some time out like Claudia Winkleman did for Bruce Forsyth on last year's 'Strictly Come Dancing'."
