A seven-year-old British boy has won a European Elvis impersonation championship.

Sylvain Saint-Simon performed a rendition of 'Burning Love' at a show in Birmingham to clinch the prize, and admitted he was not nervous before singing.

He said: "I was really looking forward to it and was really confident. I sang 'Burning Love' because it has big movements and really shows off how good I am. I enjoyed it so much."

His mother Sharon added it was "fantastic" to see the crowds get so excited.

She said: "We think he's fantastic so it's great to hear an audience go wild for him too."
