Son of Osama bin Laden Seeks Asylum in Spain

Omar Osama bin Laden, 27-year-old son of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, requested asylum moments after landing in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday.

Omar had been traveling with a Saudi Arabia passport and was on a flight from Cairo, Egypt to Casablanca, Morocco when the plane landed in Spain.

It is not known why Omar Osama bin Laden was seeking asylum but he was being held at the airport while the ministry considered his petition.
