Jay-Z is investing in a chicken restaurant chain.
The '99 Problems' hitmaker - who is married to pop star Beyonce - has decided to add to his vast business empire with an investment in Buffalo Boss, a Brooklyn-based chicken wing restaurant, with his mother Gloria and sister Andrea, while his cousin Jamar White will oversee its day-to-day running.
Jamar told MTV News: "Yes it's all true. Jay supports us in all we do, that's my big cousin right there."
As well as chicken wings, the restaurant also provides salads, fries and soft drinks, and he reportedly rewarded exceptional students at a school in New York with free food recently, according to TMZ.
Chicken is among a number of items Jay is believed to have placed on his rider in the past, alongside peanut butter, two bottles of champagne, red wine, two fruit platters and Sapporo beer.
However, the 41-year-old rapper has previously claimed he was not a fan of the meat because it reminds him of being poor as a youngster.
He said: "We ate a lot of chicken, you know, because chicken's cheap. We had so much chicken, chicken backs, chicken everything. To this day I can only eat small pieces or else I feel funny."
