Coronation Street's Tina McIntyre is to find love with a hunky newcomer.
The brunette bombshell will see her feelings for butcher boyfriend Graeme Proctor (Craig Gazey) waver when ladies' man Tommy Duckworth - who is to be played by former 'Hollyoaks' actor Justin Fountain - arrives on the cobbles.
An insider revealed: "Everyone loves Tina and Graeme's romance, but sparks will fly when Tommy arrives.
"It's be very interesting to see if he takes after his dad Terry in being a real bad boy. He's certainly going to make a big impression on the cobbles."
However, it won't just be potentially troublesome Tommy who is to rock the foundations of the couple's relationship.
The arrival of Tina's (Michelle Keegan) best friend Xin on the Street will also play havoc with the formerly loved-up pair's feelings, as Graeme - who is leaving the ITV1 soap later in the year - will feel isolated by his girlfriend's close friendship.
The sourced added to Inside Soap magazine: "Graeme will find it difficult having his life disrupted by Xin's constant presence. Her friendship with Tina is strong, so Graeme could feel pushed out. It'll be very interesting to see just what her role in their split is."
