Gillian McKeith eyes Corrie role

Gillian McKeith is eyeing a role in 'Coronation Street'.

The TV nutritionist - who appeared in last year's 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!' - thinks she put on such a good performance in the jungle while demonstrating her many phobias that she should be awarded a role in the ITV1 soap.

She told BANG Showbiz: "I think I deserve a role in a movie or TV show. I would love to open a juice bar in 'Coronation Street'."

Despite admitting she had no idea what she was letting herself in for when she agreed to take part in the ITV1 show, Gillian would still be open to taking part in another reality series.

She said: "I never have any regrets. I didn't really know what I was getting myself into with 'I'm A Celeb...' but I'm not the kind of person who will say, 'Oh I should have never done that' because all the fun and good then comes out of everything.

"I would be open to reality TV again, depending on what it is. I can skate, I'm a good skater actually but I like dancing on the floor, it's less dangerous."
