Superhero will continue to fight crime

A "superhero" in Seattle has promised to continue fighting crime despite having his nose broken.

Known as the Guardian of Seattle, Phoenix Jones - who wears a mask and a skintight bulletproof vest - tried to stop a fight with a man who was brandishing a gun.

However, he had his nose broken in the incident, encouraging the police to ask the public to not consider similar actions.

A detective said: "Does Superman get his ass-kicked? These people should not be called superheroes."

However, Phoenix said: "If police aren't here, criminals feel free to run wild in my city. And I'm not going to stand for it."

He has a number of colleagues also taking part in the crime-fighting, including Thorn, Green Reaper and Thunder 88.
