Kelly Brook found singledom hard

Kelly Brook found it hard to cope with her split from Danny Cipriani.

The 31-year-old model and actress - who called time on her 20-month relationship with the rugby player last June - explained while the breakdown of her relationship hit her "hard", she is now enjoying the freedom singledom brings.

Kelly - who was recently romantically linked with British comedian Jack Whitehall - said: "Being single hit me hard at the beginning, but now I'm actually really enjoying it. I quite like my freedom and not answering to anyone. Just being responsible for myself and not having to check in. It's nice to be a bit selfish."

However, the brunette beauty admitted while she is happy to be single for the time being, she still thinks about settling down as she wants to be secure in the future.

She admitted to more! magazine: "I'm getting old, I've got to think about my future and security. A person would win me over with spontaneity, excitement, adventure and lots of nice gifts."
