Darren Osborne's relationship will be put to the test when former flame Cindy Longford arrives back in 'Hollyoaks'.
The reformed bad boy - who dated the seductress before she married rich pensioner Alistair Longford (Terence Harvey) - will see his romance with journalist Nancy Hayton (Jessica Fox) tested when the brunette beauty makes her return to the Channel 4 soap.
Ashley Taylor Dawson - who plays Darren - explained: "Cindy (Stephanie Waring) will be coming back. I think out of Darren's previous girlfriends, she's the one he's been most compatible with.
"And even though she's married to an older man, there's unfinished business between them."
However, it won't just be Cindy causing trouble for the ill-fated couple.
After Suzanne Ashworth (Suzanne Hall) - the mother of Darren's ex-wife Hannah (Emma Rigby) - returns to the village with the twin babies he has fathered in tow, it can only spell disaster for the pair.
Ashley added to Inside Soap magazine: "Suzanne and the kids have nowhere to live, so they end up moving into Nancy's flat. As you can imagine, Nancy's not impressed in the slightest.
"She struggles to cope, and Darren's set to have a really difficult time juggling her with the kids. It might not be too long before that relationship comes to an unfortunate end."
